Oscar Vazquez, MD, is a 2003-graduate of The John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, where he obtained his medical degree. His postgraduate training includes his orthopedic surgery residency served at the NYU School of Medicine and The Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York (2003-2008), where he served as Chief Resident during the entire duration of his residency training, as well as his sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery fellowships performed under Dr. James Tibone and Dr. John Itamura at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California, and hip arthroscopy specialized training conducted under Jason Snibbe, MD, at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Vasquez completed his undergraduate education, i.e. his Bachelor of Arts degree in Neurobiology and Biology, at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
